Guest book: messages from your guests

On new events the guest book starts closed. It needs the guest experience and a published invitation, so the free trial or Premium. In the guest book, Guest book link gives you a link that takes guests straight to it.

On your guest page, guests open Guest book, write their name and up to 1,000 characters, and press Sign the guest book. Entries are text only, without photos, sound or links. If you chose After reply, guests reply to the invitation first.

Guests have no button to change or remove an entry after sending it, but they can write another one.

New entries wait under New. Guests are told that each entry is read before it appears. For each entry:

• Add to the book: it appears on your guest page and goes into the PDF.
• Hide: guests do not see it, and it is left out of the PDF. You can add it back later.
• Delete: deleted for good.

Turn on Private book if only you and your team should read the entries. Guests can still write, and are told that only the hosts will read it. Their entries go straight into your book, and the book is no longer shown on your guest page.

Entries written while the book was private stay private, even if you later show the book to your guests again.

Press Email me the book. Every entry in the book, in the order guests wrote them, is set as a PDF with a cover and sent to your account's email address. It is free, and you can ask for it again as the book grows.
