Problems signing in

Sign in the same way you did the first time: with your email address and password, with Google or with Apple. If you cannot get in, start by checking which of these you used.

Sign in the way you did the first time

On the sign-in screen you can use your email address and password, Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. Use the same one as when you created your account. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you have no Vowly Event password.

  • Not sure which one you used? Press Forgot password? and enter your email address. If your account signs in with Google or Apple, the screen tells you which; if there is no account with that address, it says so.
  • Signed in but your events are missing? You are probably in a second account, made with another sign-in method or another email address. Sign out and sign in the way you did first.
  • Events someone shared with you appear only in the account with the email address they invited.

Forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in screen, press Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email address and press Send code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email, then choose a new password of at least 6 characters.

The code is valid for 15 minutes. If it does not arrive, check your junk or spam folder, or ask for a new one. Already signed in? Change your password in Personal information with Change password.

Apple, Hide My Email and Android

  • If you chose Hide My Email when you first used Continue with Apple, your account uses a private address from Apple, not your own. Always sign in with Apple: signing in with your own address, by email or with Google, does not find that account. When you join someone's team with Apple, choose Share My Email so their invitation can find you.
  • The Android app may not show Continue with Apple. If your account uses Apple, open web.vowly.co in your phone's browser and sign in with Apple there, or use the app on an iPhone or iPad.
  • On web.vowly.co, Google and Apple sign-in need a normal browser. If you opened the link inside an app such as Instagram or Facebook, the page shows Google and Apple sign-in need your browser. Open the link in Safari or Chrome instead. If your browser blocks the sign-in window, allow pop-ups and try again.

It asks for a code

A new account made with an email address is confirmed with a 6-digit code we email to you, within 24 hours. The code is valid for 15 minutes and you can ask for a new one. If it does not arrive, check your junk folder. If you typed the wrong address, use Used the wrong email? on the same screen. Accounts made with Google or Apple need no code.

Account suspended or closed

If you see Your account has been suspended or Your account has been closed, signing in again does not change it. If you think it is a mistake, press Contact support or write to support@vowly.co, ideally from your account's email address. If you pay for a subscription, the same screen shows how to manage it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same account on my phone and my computer?

Yes. The same account works on several phones and computers at the same time.

Is there two-step verification?

Not in Vowly Event itself. If you sign in with Google or Apple, their own two-step verification protects your account.

Where do I sign in on a computer?

At web.vowly.co, with the same account as on your phone. See the web and phone apps.
