Close or reopen your invitation

When your event is over, the invitation screen becomes a summary, Your event is over. Under Your invitation page it says what guests can still open, such as the photos and the guest book if they are on.

Closing and reopening are free. The owner and team members with the Co-host or Organiser role can do it; team members with the Viewer role cannot.

• Anyone who opens the link or scans the printed QR code sees This event has taken place and a short note that you have closed the page. It shows no names, date or place.
• Nothing can be sent from it: no replies, no photos and no guest book entries.
• Nothing is deleted. The photos and guest book entries stay with you in the app.
• No email goes to your guests when you close the page.

Press Reopen the invitation on the same screen. The page opens again at once, with the same link and the same QR code, so nothing needs to be reprinted or sent again.

Reopening cannot keep the page open longer than your plan allows. After an event you paid for, the photos and the guest book stay open to guests for 365 days; otherwise the page closes three days after your trial or subscription ends. The summary says which applies to you.

• Stop accepting responses, in RSVP settings before the event: the invitation stays open and guests can read it, but they cannot reply. You can add a message for them. See set a reply-by date.
• Close the invitation, after the event: the whole page closes for everyone, including the photos and the guest book.
• Delete event: removes the event and everything in it for good. See manage your events.
