Choose what your guest page shows
With the guest experience on, your invitation also shows sections such as your story, the schedule, an FAQ and places to stay. For each section you choose whether guests see it, see it after replying, or not at all.
On this page
Turn on the guest experience
- Open Invitation, then Guest side, then Guest experience.
- Turn on the switch at the top.
- Open Planning or the Invitation tab, then Guest experience.
- Turn on the switch at the top.
The guest experience only shows on a published invitation. If yours is still a draft, the app asks once and then publishes it too, with Turn on and publish. Turning it on needs the free trial or Premium; turning it off is always free.
The sections
- Our story: a few words about you and up to six photos. Here you can also turn on Countdown on the invitation.
- Dress code: see Dress code and adults-only.
- Event timeline: the running order of the day, with an optional Watch online link for guests who cannot be there.
- Menu: your dishes, and meal choices if you ask for them. See Let guests choose their meal.
- Music: your playlist and song requests. See Music and song requests.
- Gift registry: see Gift registry and bank details.
- FAQ: the questions and answers you write.
- Places to stay and Transfers and parking: see Travel and accommodation.
- Guest book and Guest photos: what guests write and send you. See Guest book and Guest photos.
Sections you fill in, such as the FAQ or the schedule, only appear once they have something in them. Other languages lets you add your own texts in other languages; see Guest page language.
Choose who sees each section
Under Online invitation visibility, each section has three settings:
- Visible: everyone who opens your invitation sees it.
- After reply: only guests who have replied see it, for example the menu or your bank details.
- Hidden: guests do not see it. Nothing is deleted, and you can show it again at any time.
Each section's own page also says whether guests can see it, with Change to change it there.
When guests can see it
You can prepare every section for free, at any time. Guests see them only while the guest experience is on and your invitation is published, which needs the free trial or Premium. If your trial or subscription ends, your invitation link closes three days later and the sections with it; nothing is deleted.
Once your event is over, guests only see the photos and the guest book, if they are open. See Memories page after the event.
Frequently asked questions
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. The guest page opens in any web browser, from your link, a guest's personal link or the QR code. Guests do not need an account.
Can I show a section only to some guests?
Not by name. A section is shown to everyone, only to guests who have replied, or to nobody. To invite only some guests to part of your event, use programme parts.
Does hiding a section delete it?
No. Hidden only hides it from guests. Everything you wrote, and everything guests sent, is kept.
Can guests see how to contact us?
Yes, if you add it. In RSVP settings, Contact for guests puts an email address and a phone number on your invitation that guests can tap.
