Protect your invitation with a PIN

The PIN keeps the details of your event private. People who open the general link see the names and design, and the date, place and text after entering the PIN.

Web, iPhone and Android · On by default for new events

How it works

Lock with a PIN is on for new events. Your four-digit PIN is in RSVP settings, under PIN code, where you can copy it.

  • The general link asks for the PIN before it shows the date, place and text.
  • A guest's personal link, from the invitation email, WhatsApp or Share personal link, never asks for it.
  • The QR code never asks for it either.

When guests cannot get in

There are three ways: give them the PIN, send them their personal link, or turn Lock with a PIN off. Without the PIN, anyone with the general link sees the date, place and text.

Change the PIN

New PIN creates a new PIN. The personal links of guests who have not replied yet stop working, so send them again. Your general link and printed QR codes stay the same.

Only invited guests

For corporate and other events, Only invited guests can respond goes further: only personal links can reply, and someone who opens the general link sees This invitation is personal. To use it for another kind of event, change the type in Event settings to corporate event or other.
